Sergeant at Arms Duncan Stephens fined Marcelo Martins for a great job that he did on the bus trip to NYC and Laurie Yelding for missing the bus. Happy dollars: Jane Walsh for her brand new grand daughter and Tracey Kelly for her husband’s birthday.

The bus trip to NYC to see the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall was a BLAST! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, everyone enjoyed the show and Marcelo’s entertainment on the bus was spectacular!

Jane Lobdell asked for volunteers to decorate the Christmas Tree at Saint Michael’s on Tuesday 11/25 at 10:00AM. It shouldn’t take long and help will be greatly appreciated.
Reminder!! Next week’s meeting will be held at the Elk’s Club.
Friday evening, November 14th is our Paul Harris Award dinner. $35 pp and cash bar. The festivities begin at 6:30

The Naugatuck Garden Club is a hard working group of dedicated volunteers and members. They have over 90 active members and have been recognized by receiving 2 Gold Medal Awards – one in education and one in civic beautification. A sampling of projects that the Garden Club has done: they have refurbished the fountain on the green and maintain the gardens that surround it; They purchased the gazebo on the green; they maintain the gazebo at Oak Terrace Senior Housing Complex and they plant, water, fertilize and maintain 17 sites throughout the town. In May of every year, the Garden Club has a plant sale. Perennials are grown and donated for the sale by members. The proceeds go towards a scholarship for a high school senior looking to major in horticulture.
