Announcements & Information

John Ford announced a Board of Director's Meeting - February 12th at 5:00PM at Alderson Funeral Home.

We held a moment of silence for the inbound/outbound students that were injured and killed in Oregon.

The club's profit and loss report was handed to the membership today. Many positive comments were given to Rupi and Marcelo for this endeavor.

Please remember to notify Rebecca Zandvliet of any/all make-ups. This includes any special meetings that are held. Please email Rebecca or call her at 203-706-1234.

Marcelo told of attending pre-PETS this past weekend. He thanked Jane and Tim Walsh for coming to lend a hand as SAA for the district.

Speaker Host, Dave Mulhall invited our own John Aresta to speak to us today. John is an accountant and runs his own business in Naugatuck.

John touched on tax tips and updates for the current tax year. He spoke about the Alternative Minimum Tax, the AMT refundable credit and the mortgage forgiveness act.
