The Kazoo band was terrific but some of the kazoos were a little out of tune.

Duncan who headed up our contingent in his truck made no wrong turns.(Duncan said it was because he has On-Star)

Lulu as the leader of the parade.

Rebecca Zandvliet did a great job with outfitting the group and choreographing the "dance numbers"

Rebecca our majorette.

The reason for the parade and Duncan's view.

Milt thanked Brian and Linda Barrett and their family for bringing the miniature horses and working so hard. They were the hit of the parade and everyone is extremely grateful for all of their work and planning.

Our Speaker Today

Jeff Chipokas, speaker host today, introduced Gary Toole, Vice president of CTCIC.

Connecticut Community Investment Corporation (CTCIC) is a non-profit economic development lender. It provides Connecticut's small business owners with access to capital that may not be available elsewhere. In addition it provides financing opportunities for expanding businesses looking to purchase real estate and/or machinery and equipment. CTCIC's mission is to enhance commerce, industry and local entrepreneurship.

CTCIC began in 1973 in New Haven to expand businesses and create jobs. It now operates in Connecticut and Rhode Island. CTCIC partners with the Small Business Association and our local banks in Naugatuck.

"It is a perfect time to start a company and/or buy real estate due to the low interest rates and the lower cost of construction," said Gary. He said that it's a good idea to come to CTCIC first, before going to the banks because CTCIC does a great deal of the eligibility and pre-qualification checking itself.

For more information please visit www.ctcic.org or call Gary Toole at 203 776-6172 ext. 124
