Our new president's first day on the job!
There will be a Club Assembly on July 16th at the home of Marcelo and Alex Martin, 220 Park Ave, Naugatuck beginning at 5:30.
There will be a Board of Directors meeting on July 9th at the office of Luso Cleaning starting at 5:00PM.
John Ford awarded Mike Elser with a plaque of Appreciation.

John Ford distributed Bike Race ads packets to the membership. Please contact the companies that you were given for ad sales and return everything to John Ford NO LATER than July 10th in order to produce the booklets in time for the Race on July 19th.

Our Speaker Today
Steve Cermola, speaker Jose DaSilva, speaker host for today, introduced Steve Cermola of the Laurel Bike club. On behalf of the Bike Club, Steve expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Rotary and our help with the race for the past 17 years. Laurel Bike club consists of around 60 members, 25 of whom are licensed racers. In the USA, there are approximately 50,000 licensed racers. Steve also gave some history and statistics concerning the Donovan-Ruhlman Criterium. The course is a 0.9 mile triangle in downtown Naugatuck. There are three 25 mile events and one 50 mile event. Please attend the race on Sunday, July 19th if you can. The Criterium begins at 1:00PM and is always great fun!
