Duncan paid a dollar to tell a story about his family. Geoff Drawbridge paid a dollar for Duncan not to tell his story. Laurie and Jane L were fined because of ringing cell phones.

Happy Dollars: Anne Butler had 2. One for her upcoming retirement and one for her daughter being pregnant!!! Other happy dollars, John Ford, Mike Elser for his wife finishing the triathlon, John McCormack for the great mattress his youngest child is sleeping on. He bought it from Joe DaSilva's "Restopedic" store and delivered it to John's house!

Marcelo had a sad dollar for Anne's retirement.

Mike Elser announced that the new list for speaker assignments is posted this week in the newsletter.

Jeff Chipokas announced the golf tournament being held at Wyantenuck Golf Club, September 16th.

Marcelo announced that July 7th was proclaimed Rotary District 7980 Day in CT by Governor Jodi Rell.

Marcelo read a thank you note from Chuck Beebe for our participation in the Bethany/Beacon Falls Rotary Club gathering.

Geoff Drawbridge, speaker host today introduced Anna Merrill and Alyssa Bianca. Both students are our outbound exchange students this year.

Anna will be going to Switzerland and Alyssa will be going to Brazil. Both girls are looking forward to their adventures very much and thanked us for this wonderful opportunity.
