Announcements & Information

John McCormack announced the plans for the Paul Harris Dinner. It will be held on November 21, 2009 at the Crystal Room. The cost of the tickets is holding at $35.00. Terry Barber has honored by Rotary's request to be the recipient and graciously agreed. Please attend and get out and sell the tickets to cover all the costs. If anyone has an idea for the entertainment for that evening, please let John know. More to follow, including press releases.

Jane Lobdell announced the plans for the children's Christmas Party. The event will be held on December 12th from 1 - 3 P.M. at St. Michael's hall. Jane is asking for one gift this year for a child in the age group of 3 - 4 years of age (boy or girl) and a $10.00 donation to pay for the hall. The cost of the hall is $300.00. Any monies collected over that amount will be donated to the "end polio now fund".

The candle sale has been extended for one more week. All forms must be returned next Wednesday.

The Rotary Club of Waterbury is holding a cocktail party on Friday, October 23, 5:00pm - 9:00pm at the Courtyard by Marriott. The tickets are $18.00 and include hors d'oeuvres and two drink tickets. There will be a cash bar available. Everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to bring a prospective new member.
