Dear Fellow Rotarians,

 

I am excited as we begin yet another Rotary year with our new RI President Wilf Wilkinson encouraging us to “Share Rotary”.  Wilf has stressed the growth of Rotary clubs worldwide, with a special emphasis on North America, as being critical for Rotary to continue its efforts to build a better world.  Rotary needs steady, annual growth to remain successful, and Wilf has challenged all of us to make membership a priority in our club this year.

 

He has asked all of his club Presidents and District Governors to make a commitment to bring in one new member.  Our District Governor, Ernie Luise and I, have both made that commitment and we ask all of you to join us in sharing the Rotary experience with as many people in our community as possible this year, so that we can continue to pursue Wilf’s theme of “Rotary Shares”. 

 

The Naugatuck Rotary Club is clearly the gold standard for District 7980.  Let us all do our part to ensure that our club's legacy continues for many generations to come.
